Chipmunks
There are 25 species of the chipmunk with 24 of them living in North America. Chipmunks are part of the squirrel family and are smaller with alternating light and dark stripes along their cheeks and backs. They are excellent tree climbers and swimmers who live in various habitats including plains, mountains and forests.
Chipmunks
Chipmunks like to live in holes or burrows called dens where they hibernate for the winter. They can gather up to 165 acorns a day.
